Nice casual soul food Restaraunt. Very friendly and accommodating. The Greens, yams, and Mac and cheese were all soooo good!!! My family enjoyed themselves. Next time, Im in Birmingham area, I will definitely be stopping by!

First visit and if I'm ever in this area, I will be returning. The walk from the Flying J truck stop was well worth it. I will be returning for breakfastThis restaurant is definitely a game changer.It gets busy and you may have to wait out the door a bit, bit they really move fast.

Bought the breakfast burrito which was delicious. Kiddos had the chicken tender meal and cheeseburger meal, both said they liked and were quiet the whole time they ate so I know they enjoyed. Deserts looked homemade and delicious. They also had a hot meal bar which smelled and looked great. Cashier was very nice. I'd order pick up again... I did give atmosphere a 3-star because the rating was an 85 and appreance wise it appeared unkempt which made me slightly uneasy.

Got a 3 vigitable plate 8.99 with cornbread a yellow mix cornbread slightly sweet but very good squash pinto beans and cabbage very good

We were driving through town at dinner time and stumbled across Ruth's Cafe. The fryers were down, so the only available option was the café style buffet. I had beef tips on rice with a side of cabbage and a side of sweet potato. Everything was cooked to perfection!! TASTY! TASTY! TASTY!! The service was outstanding as well! Everyone was extremely polite and accommodating. The entire restaurant was squeaky clean. If I am ever back in town, I will definitely be eating there again!TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE THROUGH & THROUGH!!!

So popular, that at times, the line is long. However, not the wait time. Everyone there is very helpful. The food is definitely delicious . Nice selection of choices. Going back soon!

We were in town for a basketball tournament. Found this gem ! The best fried chicken I've have ever eaten. Mac and cheese is amazing! Highly recommend this awesome place. People working super nice and polite!
